Joshua K. Opdycke has been a trial attorney since graduating from Loyola University Chicago Law School in 2007. He has extensive experience in litigating motor vehicle wrecks, premises liability, construction, and general negligence cases.
Mr. Opdycke has handled cases from inception to verdict for a wide range of clients from large target defendants to individuals. He has been the first chair on over thirty jury trials in State Court involving both minor and catastrophic damages and has argued numerous cases in both the pretrial and ADR setting. Mr. Opdycke is also an arbitrator for the Cook County mandatory arbitration program.
Mr. Opdycke began his law career at the Chicago Transit Authority as in-house trial counsel and later joined another personal injury law firm to litigate injury claims. Mr. Opdycke’s litigation experience has given him a unique understanding of the insurance companies’ policies and litigation tactics. Mr. Opdycke is a life-long resident of Evanston, Illinois, where he resides with his wife and three children.
